About the Arkansas Skatium

Since July 4^th, 1976, West Little Rock has been home to Arkansas’s only Ice and Roller Skating Facility. The business opened under the name of Skate World and became the Little Rock Skating Arena in 1993, and finally the Arkansas Skatium in 2000.

Our facility is open year round and we offer a wide range of skating activities and programs for both kids and adults: Learn to Skate Classes, Open Skating Sessions, Cheap Skate Night, Gospel Skate Night, Old School-Jam Skate, Family Fun Day, Home school Skate, Beginner Youth and Adult Hockey Leagues, Broomball, Birthday Parties, Roller Derby, and Much More.

Our new thermal insulated interior ceiling, which insures a frozen surface during the hot Arkansas summer, was installed just last season in the Ice Arena. 4 new AC units keep the Roller Rink nice and comfortable and we also purchased new ice and roller rental skates at the beginning of 2007.
